i get the wonderful honor to illustrate my good friend 
's awesome short story "Engulfed!" (at least that's what she lead me to believe that was what the title was
)
anyway, this will be the first comic i'll ever do, so i'm both really excited, and really nervous! i worked very hard on each page, so please be nice to it!
i'll update pages every time i get the chance to! there will be special color pages for fun scenes!
i told jenkristo i'd have this up by midnight. i have five minutes to spare.

But seriously, The artwork is fantastic! I Loved the cover page and the way you broke the spirit bottle was really cool! But I gotta say, my favorite part in these two pages is the panel on the top left of page 2, the little girl listening to her parents fight! The expression on her face is SO SAD! *sniff* Not to suggest that the other expressions aren't good ((I love all of their faces)) but I like her, I really like her character... and I will be going to tell jenkristo just that ^^. I also admire how you have her twisting her toes! A lot of people don't pay a lot of attention to such things. But Excellent form, I must say. Keep up the excellent work!
